Delivery & Returns T&C's

PROCESSING TIME
For stock items I aim to ship orders within 24-48 hours. For special or bespoke orders delivery times will be discussed in any correspondence.  If there should be any delay due to unforeseen circumstance such as a T8 storm, I will contact you. If you would like an order sent urgently, please notify me by email and will do my best to send it out ASAP.

NAME AND ADDRESS
It is your responsibility to provide the correct shipping name and address. Any parcels returned to me because of an incorrect address will not be refunded (inclusive of goods and delivery). You have 24 hours after you finalise your order to notify me of an incorrect address by email info@komunik8handmade.com

PACKAGING
Jewellery items are sent in a presentation box (sustainable of course) and further packaged in a suitable box for shipping. Cushions are carefully wrapped in FSC certified tissue paper.  Any plastic packing used has been recovered from deliveries I receive and can be reused again.

DOMESTIC SHIPPING

Orders are sent via UPS, SF Express or Hong Kong Post using a signed for service with tracking. Your tracking reference will be forwarded to you by email so you can follow the progress of your parcel on the ‘Trace & Trace’ feature of the relevant couriers website. Free shipping offers are for Standard services only.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING (EXCEPT UK)

All international orders are sent using FedEx, UPS or HK Post.  Jewellery items can be sent by Courier service only and not by HK Post. Costs are calculated at checkout (inc any payable tax), and you can choose which service you prefer. You will be forwarded your tracking number by email so you can follow the progress of your parcel on the 'Track & Trace' feature on the relevant website . Estimated delivery dates are an estimate only and are provided by the shipping company. Free shipping offers are for standard delivery only and does not include any additional taxes and fees.

All import taxes and fees are payable by you to the shipping company (unless in the UK). I am not responsible for any delays due to customs. Any parcels returned to me due to unpaid taxes are non-refundable (inclusive of goods and delivery costs).

Please refer to this chart for example rates. It is your responsibility to calculate the cost of your expected taxes. I am not accountable for any miscalculations and have provided this information as a guide only. Please also note that some shipping companies will often charge an extra fee for the collection of taxes which is dependable on the receivers country.
CIF = Cost, Insurance, Freight. Under these terms tax is payable on all these costs.

Due to new UK laws for Overseas Online Selling Compliance, I am now obliged to collect VAT and duty on your behalf for sales under £135.  For orders over £135 Tax, duty and fees are payable by you on delivery and is calculated using CIF terms (Cost Insurance, Freight). This will be shown at checkout.  So for example;

Fees may also be payable to the delivery company for the collection of Taxes. 

Any free delivery offers will be for the cost of shipping only and will not include taxes and fees.

CANCELLATION & RETURNS POLICY

If you should need to cancel your order please do so within 24hrs of purchase.  You can notify me by email at info@komunik8handmade.com.  All refunds are processed using you original payment method.  Please also allow the time period stated by your payment provider for the refund to show in your account.  Due to International payment fees there maybe an administration fee if you are purchasing outside of Hong Kong.

RETURNS
I hope you will love your new purchase as much as I did creating it. However, if you would like to return an item for a refund or exchange, please read the following carefully

  • Please notify by email me of any returns within 14 days of receipt of goods. Send notification to info@komunik8handmade.com.
  • I will let you know which address to send your returns. Please note my workshop address will not accept deliveries.
  • Returns must be sent within 7 days of the above notification.
  • Please include your name, contact details and order number or a copy of your receipt inside the parcel, so I know who it’s from.
  • It is recommend returned goods are to be sent in original shipment packaging and using a suitable delivery method. Returned parcels are the responsibility of the sender. I cannot refund for goods if they are lost or damaged in transit.
  • The cost of sending returned items is to be paid for by the returnee.
  • Items must be sent in original condition, unworn or unused and in original packaging. Any goods damaged whilst in your care, accidentally or deliberately will not be refunded.
  • Refunds are for the cost of the goods only. I do not receive or pay tax on your behalf, please contact your local Tax Office (Unless in the UK). I also cannot refund the cost of delivery.
  • Refunds will be processed within 7 days of my receipt.  Please also allow the time period stated by your payment provider for the refund to show in your account.
  • Due to International payment fees there maybe an Administration charge if you are purchasing outside of Hong Kong.
  • Gifts or items returned without a receipt are exchange only, at the current sale price. You will have 3 months from the date of the return to make your exchange and exchanges can only be made once.
  • Any further delivery costs incurred by an exchange are payable by the customer.

    GUARANTEE
    I make my items to last so I don’t feel I need to state a Guarantee period. If you have any problems with your purchase, please contact me and I will be happy to help.
